Kefir is a powerful probiotic drink made by fermenting milk with kefir grains — living colonies of beneficial bacteria and yeasts that resemble tiny cauliflower florets. These grains transform ordinary milk into a bioactive elixir, abundant in enzymes, vitamins B12, K2 and D, and billions of live probiotic strains.

With up to 30 different probiotic strains — far more than yoghurt — kefir is one of nature's most potent tools for gut balance, digestion and radiant skin.

Founded in Nepal by a mother-daughter duo, Manu and Shreeyashi KC, Mama's Kefir is more than a brand. It is a return to nature, a revival of ancient fermentation wisdom, and a celebration of the healing power of the gut-skin connection.

Every jar and bottle is made by hand, in small batches, with real kefir grains that we have cared for like family.
